Question:
Is there a support group meeting anywhere Trenton NJ?

And do any one know about a Dr Robert Brolin? I have a referrel from my doctor to go to him, but i cannot find out any thing about him. Is his office that busy?    — GLORIA L. (posted on June 15, 2001)

Dr. Brolin is located in New Brunswick, New Jersey at St. Peter's Hospital. He was not my surgeon but he does work with my surgeon Dr. Andrei. He is one of the best and he was also the President of the American Society of Bariatric Surgery. He does have an online support group on yahoo. I think the address is something like OSSG ... Hi Gloria, I did a little research for you. Dr. Brolin is in the database of this site. Go to the top of any page and click on "find a doc". Click on "browse the list" and then click on your state. You will then see a list of Doctors in New Jersey that perform WLS. Dr. Brolin is the first listed. If you click on "view comments" you will then see a list of insurances that have approved surgery with this doctor and then a section for member comments. These also provide a name and e-mail address for his patients. Maybe you could e-mail them individually with your specific questions. I think you may reach more people that way. Also, I read your profile and I am worried that you are wanting help from someone but that person may never read your profile. Who did you intend to see that note? I would definitely try and reach them again, if you haven't heard from them. We here at this site are just lay people that help each other through our experiences. I would hate to think that you were waiting for someone to respond to your message (Dr., surgeon, insurance company). I hope this has been of help to you. Shelley
