Question:
I was viewing a couple websites with tummy tucks and the cut looks very long?

It is very long--hip to hip at least, and depending on
your body, possibly longer. Some people end up with a "belt" that
completely encircles them (but only in really extreme circumstances). A
tummy tuck (or abdominoplasty/panniculectomy, for insurance purposes) will
always leave a very large scar. This is why I, personally, cannot see this
as a "cosmetic" operation.

There is such a procedure as a "mini" tummy tuck, but if
you're a WLS patient with the somewhat typical large apron, that's not
going to work for you. If all you really need is a mini-tuck, maybe
straight lipo would be best. Insurance won't pay for it under any
circumstances that I can see, but the scarring is minimal.
