Question:
I am having plastic surgery in 2 weeks...
I would like to hear from anybody who had their arms done, good results or bad. Does the scar fade and how long? Are you glad you had it done? Do people notice your scar right away or is it in a part of the arm that is not always noticeable? Could you lift your arms after surgery and how long were you in pain and restricted with arm movements? Thanks, — gammiepat (posted on June 14, 2011)

I haven't had plastic surgery yet, but the only scar that I have is from
the trake that was in my throat (I had it in for 10 months because of
complications due to surgeries) It was noticable in the beginning but you
really have to stare to see it.

Hi. I had a boob reduction and arm lift in march of 2006 and it was the
easiet surgery of my life. I had a lower body lift in 2004 and it kicked my
ass. In fact, when I had my arms and boobs dne I walked home from the
hospital, surgery was at 7am and walked home at 12nn. I also went back to
work 2 days later. My only suggestion, do them in the winter or fall bc
you have to wear arm sleeves for like 6 wks and it's easier in the
fall/winter with long sleeves or sweaters. I am very fair and you cannot
even see the scars. They are all of absent. I have pics on my profile, they
are hidden but if you friend me I'll share, they are immediately post op.
As for pain, none. It was really easy. I had dogs too and didn't have any
problems walking them but stretching did hurt.
