Question:
Anyone ever taken: Intramax by Drucker labs
Has anyone ever used this for liquid vitamin and mineral supplementation? Feedback? I'm interested in finding some type of liquid vitamin mix to take after WLS. Ideas? Thanks — texastreat (posted on February 3, 2010)

I haven't used a liquid vitamin before but I do know the ASMBS recommends
RNY patients take a multi vitamin that provides 200% of the recommended
daily allowance. So, compare the ingredient label of the Intramax to that
of a Centrum multi vitamin adult formulation and see how their stats come
out. Our dosing is twice per day so you will have to take 2 doses of the
liquid as well. Remember, you will still have to take a calcium supplement
in addition to the multi vitamin; 1500-2000 mg per day of calcium citrate
and likely extra B12 and iron. I've read here there is a powder calcium
citrate brand called Upcal-D in case you're looking for non-pill
formulations. The B12 needs to be taken sublingually post op and is easily
found everywhere. I get my chewable iron from Vitalady; called Gentle Iron.
Good luck on your surgery!
