You are doing great! Remember that EVERYONE loses at different rates even
if they stick to the same exact diet. If you want a good idea of how my
progress went you can go to: http://shawnielee.tripod.com and click on

I had my surgery on August 13, 2009, I have lost 94 lbs so far, but I have
had a lot of problems with throwing up. I do not eat. I do get my protein
in and water though, but it is difficult for me to eat meat, chicken, etc.

Hi,I had the RNY on 7/22/09 and I have lost 69 lbs. I started out at 364
lbs.I am 255 lbs today.I am doing everything I am supposed to do and I
feel good and I am healthy. So thats what I concentrate on. I did lose 40
lbs while preparing for surgery. So my surgeon says thats why I havent lost
as much as some other people.I got rid of that "easy fat" before
my surgery. He said that everyone is different so we cant judge ourselves
off of someone elses experience. Just keep walking ,drinking water ,taking
vitamins, and keep your calories between 800-1000 daily. Your body will do
the rest. Good luck!

You are doing great... excercise helps move things along, and lots of
water. everyone's journey is different, do NOT compare yourself to anyone
else. I am 5 months out, lost 86 pounds and i am stuck for 2 weeks now....
just keep doing what you are doing you will be fine!

have been told by my doctor and also have seen it online alot the average
is at 1 month is about 20% of excess weight, 3 months is 33% and year is
65-70%. of course everyone loses at their own pace but if you are anywhere
around that you are doing great. its the keeping it off after the 2 year
mark that is usually the issue.
