What are you eating at this point? Are you following the DRs & NUTS
plan?

I always had to take a couple if little sips of something after eating from
the beginning for that reason. To clear my esophogus, and get the food out
of my mouth. It never hurt me. Never guzzle. My stats: 5'2" 240/113
two years out RNY.

Then find something that doesn't stick. Don't worry about diet and
nutrition at this point you have to eat. No protein shakes...Keep trying
anything until you find something you can eat. This surgery only works if
you eat small meals 6 times a day. Once you are 6 months to a year out then
work on protein first! I am 5.5 years out and haven't gained an oz.

I had my surgery RNY 6/16/09. After the first 4 weeks of having pureed I
tried introducing solids. No matter what I had Chicken,Fish, my pills I
would get that horrible stuck feeling. Well turns out I healed to tightly.
My doctor did a endoscopy. Turns out my opening was half the size of your
pinky. No wonder everything got stuck. All is better now, and he made an
opening with a balloon devise about two fingers wide. So much better!!!
Talk with your doctor and let him/her know what's going on.
Good luck
