Since you also posted just prior to this that you don't get a full
sensation when you eat, this funny feeling you describe here could be that
very signal. It takes time to re-learn our body's signals because we just
had them surgically altered. As you are re-learning how and what to eat
this is yet another reason why it is so very important to follow the eating
plan your surgeon and NUT designed.

That is where I feel my fullness is in my throat. I feel like if I eat
another bite it will all come up. Especially in the beginning stages.

I am in the same boat- I am 4 weeks out post RNY. Everything I eat is
sticking in my throat and I have a huge amount of very thick mucous. I was
just hospitalized to have an endoscopy to see if my esophagus needed to be
dilated. They told me I have a yeast infection in the lining of my
esophagus and put me on Diflucan. I am having a hard time keeping anything
down including fluids and meds. I have lost 40 pounds in 4 weeks but all I
do is vomit. Anyone else ever heard of this? I am at a total loss.
