Question:
After losing 107 pounds I still have another 45 to lose, but have not lost anything
in over 8 months. What can I do to "restart" the weight loss so that I can get down to my goal. I had my surgery in December, 2005. — Pat_P (posted on March 24, 2008)

You might step up your protein intake and exercise or activity and see if
that doesn't give you a boost. With summer here, you should find activities
that make you move...It always works for me!
Good luck

you body needs a change. when you plateau , you have to change the way your
eating, increase your work out. and increase water intake. try to carry a
gallon of water everyday and drink it periodicaly during the day.

to a dr, he prescribe me diet pills and im getting b12 injection 2 times a

I was always told to get more protein, excersize and water also known as
PEW. That will get your weight loss going again. I have to start doing this
too, since I am slowing down considerably also.

After 7 months with no loss, I increased the protein and reduced fat &
carbs, took off an additional 60....after doing so.
good luck

Stay away from diet pills. You have a tool to work with. I agree and I've
also done this and it works. Increase protein, cut back on carbs. Might
want to check with your nutrionist. Mine had told me to do that. Best of
Luck

I know your delimia. I started at 470 and am down to 300,and have not lost
any weight for 6 months. It is hard for me to exercise but if I am to loose
I will have to. I am 61 with a lot of arthritis. I am also going to really
pick up more protein !Good luck
