Question:
Has anyone had surgery or interaction with Dr. Lynch or Dr. McDowell in TN?

I am considering the lapband surgery. I originally had a doctor chosen but he is not in my insurance network. The two that are in my network are Dr. George B. Lynch and Dr. James G. McDowell. They work with Baptist and Centennial Medial Center in Nashville, TN. If anyone has had surgery or has researched/met with either of these doctors please let me know the good and the bad. I had RNY done by Dr. McDowell on 10/10/06. I had no complications. I was well pleased with him but not the hospital (Baptist Hospital). I haven't had the results that I would have liked but most of it is my fault.

Hi. I had the rny on Jan 14th, 2008 and it was done by Dr. McDowell at Baptist. I really like him and so did my family. He's very nice and he tells you that it's a privilege for him to be chosen to be your doctor. Give him a try.
