The OH web site has surgeons listed, and generally the surgeon you pick should know of any support groups in the area if he/she does not offer them. I know my support group has patients from several other WLS practices. Another way to find out (this is how I actually selected my surgical group because they do have full support services, which is what I wanted) is to go on your local hospitals' web sites and type "weight loss surgery" in their search field; this will tell you what services are offered where. I have been attending the support group on the 3rd Monday of the month at 6:30 in Hesperia. It is sponsored by Dr. David Suh but at least 15 active members had other surgeons. Everyone is very supportive.
