Are you sure its your old stomach (at or above your waist) and not your
intestine (at or below your waist)? If you're "pushing" food
through your pouch, you'll activate the satiety receptors in your intestine
before the satiety receptors in your pouch.

Thank you, cleo! Fascinating information. I am pre-op but the question
and your answer are very important. It's not something I would have
thought about. -ali

Hello again Robert. This is interesting. I don't know if I would feel
anything in my lower stomach or not. Again, it may be you need to get
checked out. It can be scar tissue wraping around your stomach squeezing
it or what the other person said. It just sounds like a good physical is
in order for you buddy! I assume that it is time for you to go as well.
For me, I had a 6 week, 6 month, 1 year, 18 month and then 2 year, then
every year appt with my surgeon, is that how they do things where you are?

Is what you are feeling actually fullness or is it gas...lol. I'm sorry,
but I'm just thinking of myself here. If I am eating foods that really
make me gasy and there are way lots of them that do, I actually can see and
feel my lower stomach distending and I feel bloated or full. Changed to a
low glycemic index diet (high in fiber etc) about 4 weeks ago and
miraculously I have not had one single bloated feeling episode.
