Sliming is the overproduction of saliva that comes back up the esophagus to
your mouth, when the food trying to pass through the stoma is not chewed
well enough, bites not small enough or eating too fast. I had not
experienced this until after I received my first fill last Thursday. I'm
learning a new process of smaller bites ie; the size of two peas, putting
my fork down between bites and chewing, chewing, chewing. One slice of
thin crust pizza took me an hour to eat.
