Question:
Others hair Change?

I am almost 7 months out and the hair loss has slowed down but now I have a new problem. My hair has always been normal to dry but now I have one section of hair that is so oily it's gross. I thought it was product build up so I usd clarifing sampoo but it didn't help. I then went to my stylist and she gave me a shampoo for oily hair and it isn't working either. I am 6-1/2 years post surgery and my hair has only gotten "normal" in the past few years. I lost quite a bit of my hair the year after surgery. I had straight hair and when it started growing back in it was wavy almost curly and much drier than before. I didn't experience the oily. I just thought I'd write to let you know that it takes awhile but mine and a few of my other RNY friends hair eventually got back to normal. I found that taking folic acid and a B complex vitamin really helped my hair get better.

My surgeon recommended biotin to help prevent thinning hair. The oily or dry, have no idea?
