SO WEIRD, MOST PEOPLE SAY YES, MY SURGEON SAYS ALWAYS AVOID CITRUS.
HMMMMMMMMMMMM? IT IRRITATES THE STOMACH LINING BUT IF YOU DON'T HAVE
TROUBLE I SAY, "GO FOR IT."

Chick-Fil-A makes diet lemonade that way. I tried it once and it irritated
my stomach. So I stick to SF Koolaid.

We are all different and I have heard of people that do fine on lemonade,
but I'm not one of them. :( When I was drinking it, I had heartburn alot.

I am having stomach pains which I'm assuming is an ulcer. All I drink is
coffee and pop. So in an effort to drink less of these and more water I'm
doing the lemon and splenda thing too!I have great concerns about the acid
in the lemon hurting my pouch. However after a cup and a half of coffee
(over some time) my stomach does'nt feel good. So far the lemon is'nt
causing any pain. It's sure a great way to get some much needed water in
(and less of garbage drinks as coffee and diet pop).

Also, don't foget lemon's cousin, L I M E! I lived off of key lime water
sweetened, just a bit, with stevia for the first 3-4 weeks post op. As far
as "water" intake my nutritionist said that decaf coffe (no
cream) or decaf iced or hot tea, unsweetened clear drinks of any kind
(except pop) all counted toward the daily water intake. So, drink up and
enjoy!
