Question:
Is cottage cheese and liverwurst okay 16 days post op?

today i had a table spoon of cottage cheese and a half a slice ofliverwurst for lunch it went down easy is this okay?    — TRACY D. (posted on October 7, 2001)

Went down OK? Stayed down OK? Don't worry about it. I like that combination myself (RNY 6/13/01), but you might want to keep in mind that liverwurst is extremely high in calories and saturated fat as well as protein.

Sounds good to me. FF cottage cheese is perfect, but liverwurst is high in fat, so unless you're a DS'er, moderation is probably the key. Good luck!

yeah its fine, its actually on my diet sheet , i am 14 days post op, and they say after 2 weeks to eat cottage cheese,
