Question:
How Do I Get Back On Track?
I had RNY in 2005 and managed to get down to 159. Now I've put back 30 lbs. I can't really eat more (at least not much more) than I could initially, yet I can't seem to get back down. I just flip flop. I saw someone else posted a similar question in January but never got much feedback on it. — nylexuse (posted on July 1, 2014)

I'm sorry that you're going through this! It is really tough to lose a lot
of weight to later start putting it back on. If you don't have any medical
problems causing the weight gain, I assume that you've overeaten. To get
back on track, for good, I would suggest to address what brings you to
overeat. What triggers you to overeat? What makes you want to cope? If you
don't come to term with the root causes of your overeating, it will
resurface one way or the other. Bariatric is a fantastic jump start to lose
weight, but as you know it too well, it's not a cure.

I've had the same problem four years out after vertical sleeve surgery.
It's frustrating, and any advice would be welcomed.
