Question:
I DONT KNOW WHAT IS GOING ON BUT I HAVE BEEN HUNGRY FOR TWO DAYS
I dont know where this is coming from but I have been hungry for the last past two days. I did up my workout and I am now taking one a day for women with engery. I finally lost two pounds but I wish it was more. So now down 73lbs almost 7 months out I will be on the 11th. 316-243.I worked hard for these last 2lbs I was hoping for more. Please tell me whats going on with me being so hungry.It makes me scared. — JANIECEMOM (posted on December 6, 2010)

Like I have said, many times, when I was losing weight, my Dr only allowed
me to eat carbs until I lost 75% of my weight. When I added carbs the
weight loss slowed down. Now when I gained a lb, that day I watch my carb
intake.

73 lbs in 7 months is excellent!!!!!!!!!!!! Our bodies need to go through
periods of readjustment. Be patient, go back to basics, and relax. The
weight will come off.

I don't know if you are aware but not only upping your exercize program
but you need to up your protein as well. I agree that you need to watch
carbs.As well increase your water intake as well. Also you might not have
thought of this but I always get 2-3 days that I am really hungry just
before my period. NORMAL!! I have lost 102 lbs since Feb 2010 and have 40
to go . SO be aware that as you get closer it slows down.

You need to determine if it's an emotional hunger based on what's going on
in your personal life (what's bothering you? etc....) I learned thru the
years that my emotions get the best of me and trigger hunger when I don't
face my issues, problems and try to find a comfortable solutions. Hungers
soem time mean a copin mechanism to something I don't want to deal with.

Have you heard about head hunger? You are probably having head hunger and
most of us go through. Or perhaps you aren't hungry but thirsty. Really
pay attention to your stomach, and if it really growls and you have actual
hunger pangs, then drink water first, then if that doesn't work, after
paying attention again, then try a small snack (healthy). You should get
into the habit of really "listening" to what your stomach is
telling you, not what your head is telling you. I call that head hunger a
food demon..........It will get you if you let it, then your weight loss is
slowed down. Hope it works out for you.

I should have also said that I was only eating two meals a day now I am up
to three. I have drop 3 more pouds. so may I needed to eat. But I am also
workingout more. I am doing the biggest loser dvds one of them is 50min the
other is 65min.I do them back to back.I got to do what I got to do to
finally see some weight lost. Its like workout and walking 4 miles a day.
