I have to agree - I am 54 and though a baby sounds nice, the next 18 years
doesn't. I already have 10 grandchildren....lol No, I have never heard of
it.

If your tubes are tied and you want more children, go see your doctor to
get them untied. Don't count on it to happen by itself. Getting pregnant
after your tubes are tied can happen but that is the exception and not the
rule. Good luck.

All depends on how old you are? If you're younger than 40, check it out
with your doctors. If over 40 really give it serious thought.

My surgeon says to wait until you're at least 2 yrs post-op to begin to try
for a baby. I haven't heard the surgery making you more fertile, although
I have heard of it reversing conditions that can sometimes get in the way
of fertility such as PCOS and irregular periods.

The surgery won't change the fact your tubes are tied. People who are over
weight have some difficulty geting pregnant because of weight issues and so
they are more likely to concieve. You would need surgery to reverse the
tubal ligation you had done.

I actually DID get pregnant after I had my tubes tied (they were suppose to
be cut and "burnt" instead of tied but...) I had them done in
2003 and had my third daughter in 2006. This was before the WLS so never
say never!
