Question:
how can i get restriction back?

3 years since lapband surgery, 2 years since i visit surgeon. I do not have any restriction. I think stoma has enlarged. Is there anything I can do ?    — rguydojn (posted on June 21, 2009)

Well Rita! The first thing you have to do is go see the people at the clinic where you had your surgery!! You need to keep up with your fills and see if everything is A-OK. Aren't you supposed to check in every 6 months because sometime the port will leek a bit and thoough that is not harmfull, it will cause restriction to go away. Good luck!

I would certainly think you need to go in. You probably just need a fill. I am 3 years out and dont get fills very often but you do still need them. I have probably only had one in the past year. YOu still need to keep a check in with your surgeon. Mine does yearly checkups at the hospital with fluro. To make sure everything is still in place and looks good.
