DOES ANYONE KNOW OF ANY SUPPORT GROUPS IN SUGAR LAND TX.

If you are Lap -band you can go to Yahoo Groups and the go to Bandbuddies .com......they are just setting up Support Meetings in and around Houston.......I can't believe your Dr doesn't have support groups for his patients...... Bandbuddies would love to have you on the board even if you are RNY.....Support is Support and I think it's very important. pam / Ft Worth.....Bandster Bites [email protected]

Memorial Hermann Sugarland Hospital has a support group that meets once a month. Go to www.memorialhermann.org and click on support groups. OMG, just went to the site and it appears as though the Sugarland facility does not have a group listed. The closest to you would be their Medical Center campus or MH Southeast. I am quite surprised they stopped the Sugarland group meetings. You might call them and make confirm if it is a permanent or temporary change. The couple of times I have been to the SE hospital group I was the only one in attendance. Not sure they get much involvement around here.
