I am not sure if you all eat, or can eat what RNY laproscopic patient do, but if you can, here are some ideas; you should still be on puree foods. now remember all nuts, are different. half of your meal should be protein, and the other half can consist of vegetable, starch or fruit. add soft cooked fresh or frozen, canned vegetables, such as carrots, peas, beets, baked potatoe.beans are a great choice. such as navy, black bean, lentil, pintos, if your making homemade, this too can be blended. by fourth week, you should be able to start adding moist, tender chicken, or turkey, shredded after cooking or very thin sliced. continue to use a small utensil to eat with, such as a baby spoon, or fork. use low fat tub margarin. low fat mayonnaise, water packed tuna, or salmon. 90-120 calorie sugar-free yogurt. yogurt should have 16 grams or less of sugar per 8 oz. serving. low fat cottage cheese.beans as mentioned. tofu. pureed baby food with no added sugar. typically there is 11 grams of sugar in baby fruit. eggs. cereal-oatmeal, cream of wheat, grits, cream of rice. sugar free jello. sugar free popsicles. skim or 1% milk. soy milk. EXAMPLES: 1 Tbs. of small curd low fat cottage cheese 1 Tbs. of unsweetened applesause. 1 Tbs. smooth peanut butter 1/2 saltine cracker 1/4 slice of american cheese 1/4 slice of tost 1/2 thinly sliced banana. 1/8 cup of bean soup-mushed with 1 saltine cracker. 1 egg omelet with low-fat cheese 1 Tbs. pureed fruit 1 Tbs.of canned tuna with low-fat mayo. 1 saltine cracker 1 Tbs. blended fruit avoid for the first 5 wks. Nuts-seeds-popcorn-raw vegetables-bread- any food with high fat content. I hope some this has helped you. again i follow this for RNY and if it should work for you great!!! Best of Luck to you...

I've found that ever doctor is different, so the best thing to do would be to ask your doctor. However, with that being said, in my personal experience I was eating about a cup to a cup and a half of solid food. Hope this helps!
