Most Surgeons are refusing Medicaid now due to them not paying. Thus
sticking the bills with the patients. Thus having to take those low income
patients to court thus since they don't have the money, everyone loses.

I just had surgery on the 12th of October (down almost 60 pounds). Medicaid
paid for my surgery at 100%, even when I was in ICU. Keep trying, some
doctors do it, while others won't. Good luck!

It depends on which state you are in, but in most cases if you can show
medical necessity, medicaid will pay for it. Talk to your surgeons'
insurance representatives, don't ask Medicaid directly.
