Question:
Has anyone had the stomach retightened after Roux in Y?

I had gastric bypass 3 years ago in June. I lost 100 lbs. but need to loose another 80.....No luck w/ diet and exercise....anyone experience a "second try"????    — JackieL (posted on May 1, 2006)

I have really wondered about this. I am currently trying Nutri-System to loose about 60 more pounds. I would love to have my tummy retightened. I really don't think they would do it however.....anyone?? anyone??

Jackie, In todays world of an obese miond.. We must find our "WHY". I, after a successful journey found a way to sabotage myself and gained back much weight, I had to find a way to understand the balance of my food addiction. Now a figure competitor, and giving my body the best. I have gone from 198 to 125 my top weight was 327 WOW, golook at my profile at the bottom of my page... I last year stated to find my "WHY".. I found it...My Family! I do compete in figure shows yearly. Not to win a trophy, but to share with others, you just have to have someone willing to teach you, however you do need to be teachable.., I had to fight back and forth with my old self, but it worked out... I love my new body and most of all, I admire my angel for sticking with me through many rocky roads and being a good listener. Now she has passed me the baton to give back what I was desin to find...

At my support meeting tonight our family doctor who runs the meeting said you can have a lap. band put on a roux-n-y. I wonder if that would be something yoy might want to consider.
