Tracy, I don't think anyone can answer this for you truthfully.
Approval are all over the board for each different insurance company and
each different kind of coverage.
If you followed your insurance company's requirements to a T-and surgery is
medically necessary-then you should by all means be approved..but there are
those "off" chances of still being denied.
For information on insurance in your state-click on the insurers section of
OH.
It's a great resource. Good Luck!

I was actually denied in November due to lack of diet history in my doctors
notes. The office sent me 6 months worth of diet record sheets, which I
had already been doing for 2 years, however it wasn't recorded. My doctor
went back and through my notes and filled the papers out accordingly. I
faxed them to the surgeon's office and was approved 2 days later!!!!!!!! I
had surgery on Jan. 13th, 2006 I am one to push for what I want and
need.... so I recommend to do the same.

I was approved in one day==after I jumped through all the hoops. Funny, I
don't have very good insurance-no prescription coverage and only 4 Dr.
visits per year-but they approved this one. Thank You Lord!
