Congrats and join the group. This issue comes up quite often and results in
many blessed events. Your a bit higher risk but nearly all have healthy
babies. I follow this subject carefully as I hope my wife is able to get
pregnant once she hs surgery and starts loosing. With careful nutrition and
monitoring you should be fine.

Congrats! There are two Yahoo! groups that might be really interesting to
you... OSSG-pregnant or OSSG-pregnancy, can't remember what it's called,
and OSSG-breastfeeding. Lots of women have had successful pregnancies and
have done very well. I think it depends on your caregivers as to a
"high-risk" label. My midwives do not think it changes risk level
in any way as long as you are careful with nutrition. Good luck!

I can't answer personally but my cousin had open RNY and got pregnant 6
months later. (She had previously seen fertility specialists because she
was having trouble conceiving.) It was an accident but she has continued
to lose and her doctor hasn't even labeled her high risk. Good luck.
