Question:
5 months postop developed very painful, hard lower abdoman pain increase after eating
up until now I have had no problems other then occasional nausea if I eat something sweet I have lost 52 pounds can it be a blockage? — horsecrazydina (posted on February 19, 2012)

I would definitely call my doctor. Have you had problems with
constipation? Whatever, you need a medical response to a new painful
symptom like this.

It could be any thung..but you need to call your surgeon asap....dont ever
wait!!!! With the kind of surgery that we have had(RNY) if youve thought
about it its already to late...so never wait on any questionable
circumstance....now....it could be a number of things, if its a blockage
you will be throwing up as well as feeling pain and dehidration,....from
your post you said youve been eating things that are sweet....that will
constitute you having dumping symdrome....if youre doing this you are
sabotaging the same surgery that you fought to have in order to loose
weight...my question to you in that case is why? Ahy go through this
process if you're not going to follow through and be healthy....
