Does anyone use candies with sugar alchohol?

I do...and I'm sure we will have people who think bad of that... but I
occasionally need something sweet and it keeps me from attempting the real
thing... I limit it to one or two pieces... never more than that... don't
want to fall back into bad habits... and I don't do it on a daily basis.
Have not had any adverse reactions. Sweet and low makes tasty hard candies.
Russell Stover makes a variety of chocolate treats.

I do - but be cautious. First of all, they still have calories - secondly,
too many can give you major stomach cramps with gas and diarrhea.

Yes, but with caution. I really like the SF York peppermint pattie. I'll
have one every now and then. Very rich so one is all I can handle.

I had my first sugar free chocolate at about 6 months out. It was heaven to
taste chocolate again. Chocolate was my drug of choice..lol But I have to
say that it isn't like before surgery. Since surgery I can eat 1/2 of a
sugar free andes candy and be satisfied with that. Candy lasts forever
these days. And please be careful if you do start down this path that you
will disipline yourself to only a piece or two as it causes awful gas and
can cause diarrhea...also known as dumping ..the gad and such...it says
right on the package that consuming too much can cause a laxative
effect..and yet we still eat this stuff..lol I do have a hard candy that
is sugar free from time to time also. Crystal light has a hard candy that
is only like 5 or 7 calories a piece. But for me, If I have 3 or 4...toilet
time...so I can't have that many in say an hours time. But if I ever get
constipated....its a cure for me. All I can say is be careful with whatever
you choose to put into your body. We are suppose to be eating for fuel
now..., not pleasure. It is hard, but after 20 months of finding what works
for me, I do have the occasional "goodie" Its not a bad habit,
like re-surgery days. Best of luck to you! Hugs n God Bless, Kim
