There isn't one setup that is a universal standard -- everything will be
based on your labs -- but there are a few things that are suggested until
your labs come back. The ASMBS recommends 2 ADULT multivitamins, a
B-complex, 350-500 b-12 if given sublingually, 27-65mg iron, and
1500-2000mg calcium CITRATE.

I can't speak for you provider but can tell you what i use. If they have
let you start vitamins I was told Flintstones Complete chewable one twice
each day. Calium citrate with Vitamin D is best because D helps absorb the
calcium again chewables. Protein I use Slim Fast high protein powder mix
because I can add whey protein or powdered milk to that with 1% milk to get
my protein caught up if I am running late in the day and protein is still
low. Followly what your doc says closely. I am in my third week now but had
done the vitamins and supplements before surgery. You may also want B-12
and I found a meltable tablet that is grape flavored that has 5,000 mcg and
I only need it once a week. Hope this helps.

My center suggested optisource. that's what i use. it's an over the
counter post bariatric vitamin offered at only walgreens. you chew 4 a
day. they're orange flavored and remind me kinda of a sweet tart taste, so
you know it's not bad. it's all i've ever used. w/using those you usually
don't have to add in anything else to the mix. good luck.
