Not necessarily. As long as you aren't eating more than the recommended
amopunt( you should be weighing and measuring your food) or more times than
your surgeon recommends, you should still be losing weight without a
problem. If you aren't weighing and measuring, then it may help to ease
your fears about the amount you are eating.

I had my surgery 10/22/09 and I have lost fifty pounds in two months. I
have done everything my doc said and all the followups. I feel great and
everyhting is good. Depends on what your doc says but mine said everything
is good.

5 lbs a week is awesome! Keep working on the "head hunger" When
you are full your full.

That is a awesome rate.when is the last time you lost 40lbs in 2 months?
right! so yes you are doing fine.if you are getting head hunger or maybe
wanting to eat that soon again -are you drinking while eating? because
drinking while eating, it washes the food out faster and you get hungry
sooner.you shouldn't have any hunger feeling s at all yet being that 7
layers of muscle in your stomach was sliced(sry..lol) and in all that
slicing your hunger nerve was sliced also.just make sure you are not
drinking while you eat because you can fill up faster also and not get your
protien in.sometimes drinking while eating can cause pain too.i learned it
quick cz i had to drink while i ate but right after surgery i learned it
was a no no.i did just enough to wet my tongue and that satisfied me.best
wishes to you.
