Question:
I had surgery with a doc from New Orleans, but I live 50 miles away.

First of all it would help to know where you live 50 miles from N.O. Is it north, west, east, south. ????

I would suggest contacting the person(s) who run whatever meeting you are wanting to go to. They might not be able to give you anyone's name/contact info (confidentiality), but they might be able to ask if anyone comes from your area and pass your info on. You could also contact your surgeon and ask if he can refer you to a group closer to home. Goodluck.
