Since you are early in your recovery period, the only thing that you can
probably take is liquid Tylenol. They do have it in adult strength at your
local pharmacy.

Some headaches are due to mineral deficiency. Drink a lot of liquids and
take a powerful "liquid" vitamin / mineral supplement like VEMMA.

Tylenol...I get uncoated tablets and give them and few chomps to break them
up...They don't taste horrible so it's easy...But newly post op I crushed
them with a tiny mortor and pestle. (used to crush dried herbs and seeds)
Or between two spoons back to back. A lot of times, a headache is caused
by thirst...and drinking 8 oz of water will usually get rid of a headache.
Often people think it's the tylenol that helps but it's usually the water
thay drink down the pill with! For real! You mentioned water makes you
sick...It did me too...I had to drink it luke warm for a while....Too cold
bothered my belly...Or I sucked on chopped ice...Now I drink a TON of
water...I always have a 32 oz cup in my hand or near by...I actually bought
a new car based on it's cup holders! LOL It had to be able to hold at
least 2 X 32 ounces cups and be gas efficient of course...LOL

Did you have headaches before your op?
They put your head in some awful positions that can lead to mechanical neck
pain i.e. muscle problems. Go see your favorite muscle worker.

Dehydration can cause bad headaches, I found that out the hard way. Up
your fluid intake and take liquid tylenol. If you think it is sinus, you
could try a childrens liquid allergy type med, but I would check with your
doc first. Mine said it was okay for me, but they are all different. Good
luck!

Frankly, most headaches are caused by a lack of water. It is usually not
the medication that one takes for the headache, but the WATER that is taken
with IT that CURES the dehydration, and thus, the HEADACHE! IF you get
headaches frequently, try increasing your WATER intake. AVOID fluids that
have CAFFEINE in them, since it tends to CAUSE dehydration. If this
doesn't work, try the Tylenol.

I take the chewable Tylenol tablets.. they have them for older kids
(6-12yrs) grape ot bubble gum flavored.. I take 2 of these and it usually
works, never had to take more than 2.. Also the adult liquid tylenol but I
don't like the taste of it...

I know others have said this, but here's a great resource for information
on the dangers of not being adequately hydrated: 'Your Body's Many Cries
for Water - You're not sick; you're thirsty. Don't treat thirst with
medication.' by Dr. F. Batmanghelidj This book is very eye opening. And
Dr. "Batman" as he's affectionately called, is speaking of WATER,
not chemically flavored Kool Aid type drinks with artificial sweeteners.
Our bodies are designed to drink water. Dehydration is a scary thing. We
take it so lightly, but it's serious. I drink 100 oz of water a day. Since
starting this (2 years ago when I lost my weight) I have almost NEVER had a
headache. Of course, I'm on superior nutrition as well, but I know water
has a huge part in this health improvement.
