Question:
Is there anybody out there in Nevada??

I am going to have RNY hopefully in March, and this website has been immensly helpful, but I havn't seen any local members yet. Anybody out there in Nevada?? We have a great bariatric center right here in Reno!!    — nellybelle (posted on December 26, 2007)

Have you tried theNevada State board forum. Under "more forums" a window pops up and highlight your state. There should be some from Nevada. Good luck in your new venture.

Hi, I'm in CT, and I wish you all the luck, good health, and everything you want in 2008! I had the surgery 6 1/2 years ago, and I really want to have the lap band done, which can be done, even with the gastric bypass. I am still overweight and can't lose anymore. My insurance won't cover it, and it will take me about two years to save up for it. But, if I'm in Nevada, I'd like to visit you and your family. You seem to have an excellent support system with your husband. I have sort of a sixth sense and see good things there. If I could, I'd leave this state and move to Nevada. We're casino people, and working out there might be a lot better than here. Wishing you all the luck and happiness you deserve, Pam

I am from Gardnerville Nevada and had my RNY done November 14, 2007. Doing great, have lost 60 pounds so far (30 before and 30 after) started in October 2007. Dr. Ganser was my surgeon and I just love him. My next appointment is January 4th. I will be happy to answer any questions you may have. Katie3314

I am going to be in the Fernley area in February. I am more then happy to get together if you would like and answer any questions you may have. I had my surgery 12/20 and will be just ending my pureed phase when i get down their. I will be their for a week visiting family. Let me know if you want to get together.
