Question:
Wu-Long Tea
Anyone out there tried this. I have read some good things about it online and want to know if anyone is having results with it. Also, do any of you know if it contains any kind of stimulant like caffeine. I have Meniere's Disease and the caffeine will throw me into an attack quicker than ... Almost all tea has caffiene in it unless it has been treated to have
caffiene removed. I don't know about the Wu-Long for sure but I'd imagine
it hasn't been de-caffinated. My husband has Meniere's and ANY caffiene
will throw it into a attack, as you know. I'd avoid it at all costs. It's
just not worth the risk.

Hi,
I have tried the Wu-Long tea, and it has a lot of caffiene..I think that
any caffiene product raises the metabolism, and thus helps with weight
loss, but it not the cure..I made my RNY decision, based on the fact that I
have tried almost all the fad and md diets, and they all work for only
short term goals, not the amount of weight loss needed that is 100lb +, and
keep it off...My surgery date is 08/13/07, and I look forward to this as a
tool, to help me with my weight loss..If we have the surgery and do not
follow the rules, then we are also in danger of gaing the weight back..So
good luck..
Peace Trisha

Thank you all for the input, I did look at that site link and am very glad
to have read it. Caffeine will kill me. Thanks again all.

Wu-long tea is nothing more than a brand of oo-long tea, which is available
and not terribly expensive. Personally I like to make oo-long and green tea
sun tea. Four tea bags of each in a gallon of water and leave in the sun
for several hours. Oo-long tea is supposed to help suppress appetite. If
you make it as iced tea, the ice will dilute the tea and the caffeine won't
be so concentrated. I drink a cup of regular coffee everyday do caffeine is
no big deal for me.
