I, too need of a surgeon who takes medicaid of Illinois...

I got good news for you!!!!!! I got medicaid, was approved it four days, and only had to pay $125 for a psych eval. Everything else is covered. Wanna know where...The Cori Centers located in Ingalls Memorial Hospital in Harvey IL. The staff is great. And the waiting period for surgery.....only about 4 months. (They only do surgeries on Mondays). Go to www.weightlosssurgery.com and fill out a questionnaire. They basically do the rest. Good luck!!! My surgery is November 7.

If your looking for someone to do the Duodenal Switch Dr.Gary Anthone in Omaha, Ne takes medicaid and I think he's gotten assignments from other states. Good luck Elaine

Dr. Heydari is wonderful. he has a program you go through and i had medicare and medicaid and was approved very quickly. he is from Woodstock, Illinois. he does his surgeries on tuesdays. he has another surgeon assist him so your not on the table as long. i had my surgery with him on July 26,2005 and im down 70 pounds already. you can email me anytime for more information about the program. Do you happened to have the numbers to Dr.Hendari and Dr.Gary Anthone in Omaha? What is the procedure consist of with the Duodenal Switch? is this the same as GBS? p.s. I tried to click on *email me* and it wont come up...just flickers and nothing there ...could you email me please...thankyou & Hon, I called Cori clinic and they told me several times they dont accept Medicaid cards....

Hi, I think your medicaid is like what we have in Th. called Tncare.You can look up surgens for your state here on this site in the help topics{not exactly sure but i think its under finding a surgen}you will know your in the right site on here when you see a map just click on your state and a list will come up also nameing the hospitals.Look at them and with each doctor you can see insurances he has been approved for or takes, also in the testamonials by thier patients i shows what their insurance was you may find one by useing that.Also if you call medicaid to make sure its covered they should be able to give you a list of doctors that does the surgery your wanting that takes it.Good luck

Doctor Alex Argotte out of Paducah Ky. takes medicaid and he has a lot of patients from Up in Ill. You have to pay the Psyc Doc but that is all.... Call 1-270-538-5850 Florinda
