Question:
HERES A POEM THAT IS WORTH PASSING ON...
"A Smile of Epidemic Proportions" Smiling is infectious, You catch it like the flu. When someone smiled at me today, I started smiling too. I passed around a corner, And someone else saw my grin. When he smiled I realized, I'd passed it on to him. I thought about that smile, Then I realized its worth. A single smile, just like mine, Could travel round the earth. So, if you feel a smile begin, Don't leave it undetected. Let's start an epidemic quick, And get the world infected. Smiling is something we all do, and it is understood by everyone in every language! — [Anonymous] (posted on January 22, 2000)

Why post anonomously? I'd like to suggest (privately) that non-weight
related items diminish the integrity of the questions database. Your
contribution is uplifting, but would be more welcome in another arena,.

Hello everyone,
Just wanted to let you all know that I am the one who posted this poem and
also another like it. It wasnt meant to diminish the integrity of the
website and I did debate over whether I should have posted either of them.
I decieded that although these poems were NOT MY OWN WORDS, they EXPRESSED
HOW I FELT about the people who have been so giving to me from this site.
If I had said what I felt in a less poetic way would it have been a
problem, no it I don't think it would have. As to why I posted
annonymously. I didn't mean to post annonymously, I have nothing to
hide,THOSE WHO DO KNOW ME KNOW I AM NOT SHY. I have quickly come to
appreciate and care for the many people I have had the pleasure of becoming
friends with on this site. I have used every service the site offers and
have tried to contribute what little I have to contribute. I am not a shy
person, nor am I ashamed or embaressed to include my name with my postings.
So if I have offended anyone in my attempt to brighten your day, I don't
apologize because including my postings made me feel better about myself. I
appreciate the positive responses that all have given in an all too
negative society.
To all of my new friends and the ones I hope to make in the future...(o:
