Question:
Any using correctol or dulcolax laxatives that have the lap band, I am severely

constipated, stool softners, miralax and mineral oil isn't doing it for me now. Wasn't sure if something harsh would effect the band.    — T R. (posted on March 25, 2010)

I also have this problem and have the band its because we can't get enough fiber. I take 1 exlax pill before bed, the package says to take 2 but that causes too much irritation in the bowel, so by taking just one I go at least every other day which is a big help and I also use the clear metemucial in my coffee a few times a week you can't even tell its in there. i to had problems, 1/2 cup of coffee in morning noon aveggie fruit drink . homemade in juicer my wife juices everything fruit veggies,i mix in benefiber lots and at night aspoonful in my yougert. thing seem tocome out well now.the veggies and fruit givemethe nutrients that i should be taking anyway.i also throw in someisopure protein powder.good luck hank

Dulcolax pills....Absolutely the BEST....no cramping...Stimulant laxatives are too harsh for me...Doctor says ok everyday if needed... I take two every night...greatest thing yet... NO Cramping.....I also did the miralax and Benifiber first...with not much effect...

Are you passing anything? Urinating, Farting? I'd suggest calling your Surgeons office immediately. You may have an obstruction or as in my case a Hiatel Hernia which was strangulating my intestines. Which needed surgery right away. They approached me the next day staing that they though I was going to die!

My nutritionist recommend Chia Seeds. Add 2 tsp to any food, they have no flavor and they expand 10x in your tummy to make you feel fuller, and not only that, they are all natural and 2tsp has 7 grams of fiber. You can find Chia Seeds at Whole foods or online.
