Question:
Anyone out there take Bariatric Fusion for all your vitamin and supplement needs.
Do you have to take anything in additon to the Bariatric Fusion. I am looking for something that has everything in one pill that I only have to take twice a day instead of 4 or 5 times a day. Thank you! — nurseb1too (posted on March 30, 2009)

I love Bariatric Fusion. I chew just two in the morning and two in the
afternoon and take nothing else. My labs have been perfect so far but only
been checked twice since I am only 4 1/2 months out rny. It's alot better
than having to chew 6 calcium aday and taking iron too. It's also cheaper
to use Bariatric Fusion.

This vitamin is okay for those WLS people other than RNY in my opinion...I
had RNY and would NOT take this vitamin..Not ever...

I contacted my doctor last week about this vitamin, and he said it would be
fine for me to take it. I am 5 months post-op RNY. He did say that I
would probably still need B12 injections though, since taking B12 orally
doesn't seem to work.

One of the vitamins my surgeon recommends is Optisource.I live in Chicago
and find it right in Walgreens. It can also be ordered online at
www.walgreens.com I chew 2 in the morning and 2 at night. No problems so
far.

I am 2+ years out from lap RNY and use Bariatric Advantage vitamins - I
take 2 chewables each day at the same time. But I still have to add 2 slo
magnesium, 1 zinc, and 1 B12 chewable. I take them all at once before I go
to bed. My labs are great. Bariatric Advantage has an automatic refill
program which is great too.

I take Forvia twice a day. They are chewable and don't taste too bad. You
can get them on Forvia.com. I think they are about 25.00 per bottle for a
bottle of 60. I had gastric bypass on Jan 8, 2009, and have lost 15 lbs
BEFORE surgery, and have lost 55-60 since surgery.
