It takes a lot to get a slip and am, sure you don't have one...everyone is
so different but it sometimes takes 4 to 6 fills to get GOOD RESTRICTION
...so hang in there....you need to go to Yahoo Groups and type in
Bandbuddies...they are also a great group and you can really get some great
information there as well as here ...the moderator is a WLS Nurse . It is
also common to gain and lose 3 to5 lbs because of water retention

I agree with the other post. Slippage is hardly ever an issue with the new
bands. If you are not losing weight, up your exercise and loweryour
calories - a basic rule. To be sure, get your surgeon to order a Flouro - a
picutre of your band and see how liquid goes through it. Antoehr good
source for info is smarterbandsters.yahoogoups.com They are tons of
educational files there to down load about the band. be patinet. weight
loss is NOT the main goal here - being healthy and active is. I've been
banded over 3 years and weight loss is spoaridc. After 4 plastic surgeries,
I'm still working on it.

You would not gain weightwith a band slippage. Spillage is usually quite
painful. Also, you can't eat or drink anything because the band is causing
blockage.
More likely you just are not at a good restriction. It took me 4 fills to
get adequate restriction to really start weight loss.
