Question:
Should I ?

I have a sore throat and a EGD scheduled for Wednesday if I am not over by then should I reschedule? If I have to reschedule I am afraid I will have to push my surgery date back as well....what should I do?    — bridgadean (posted on June 27, 2008)

I had a sore throat before my EGD. I called and was told that it wouldn't be a problem since I was only having IV sedation. I had no problems with the procedure. Good Luck

Coincidentally, I had a sore throat and the sniffles my self. It was not a problem, and the EGD went just fine....

Don't risk the chance of a problem. Better to ask the doctor's office then deal with a major problem that you cannot fix later. Just my opinion.
