Is that Military ? My daughter is in the Military, had her baby there in
Augusta Ga but she lives in Eatonton Ga, she had to have some things done,
and no they didn't help her any, it was on the nose. She had to have
cartilage removed, she breaths better now . So I would say they don't help
out on skin removal .... But if it is the same hospital, it is a teaching
hospital and is a
Very good one... I will try to find out ... Take care, and enjoy Ga, it is
a great State.

My daughter said they would , is the hospital MCG, and if it is medical
need. She said they are trying to get plastic surgeons in the military. Are
you in the military or family member? Your family physician will help you.

I have Tricare Standard and they do pay for tummy tucks if they paid for
the wls, also the doctor has to send a picture for them to approve but if
you lost that much weight I am sure your skin will meet the requirements. I
know a girl who just had her tummy done about 1 month ago, and they paid
100% (prime). Good Luck!! and Congratulations on your success!!

I had WLS surgery done at a military hospital and lost ver 140 lbs and had
2 plastic surgery consults paid for by Tricare and pictures sent to them
and a history of skin raashes for over a year and Tricare North would not
approve a tummy tuck. They said the rashes were a hygenie problem! However,
my doc told me not to give up because we were moving to another Tricare
region and they do plastic surgery at tat naval hosptial, so I am getting
ready to try again. But to answer your question, just because Tricare pays
for WLS does not mean that they will automatically pay for a tummy tuck.
Sometimes they will and sometimes they won't. It's been 2 years fighting
for ne for me wit tricare.
