Question:
will my surgery be postponed if I have a cold 2 days before surgery?

You need to call the Dr's office and let them know, drink alot of water & sleep, they told me when I thought I might catch a cold that it was up to the anesesiologist(sp)and to show up as schedueled. GOOD LUCK!

Do let both your surgeon and the anesthesiologist know, but I also got a cold two days before my surgery, and it wasn't a problem. Both the surgeon and anesthesiologist said as long as I didn't have a fever, they could go ahead, and since it was just a cold--not the flu--there was no fever, and it wasn't a problem.
