Question:
If I have ins. co. that my work pays for is it possible 2 have another cover?
I am covered through Teamsters Ins Central states and my company covers my weekly costs for my insurance, I have heard that If I try to get a secondary insurance that covers WLS that It will not cover if my insurance company won't cover. They will pay secondary, and since my ins. will not cover this how does that work? I cannot cancel my job insurance because it is free and covers my son and myself. — Michele M. I am not sure if this follows true for all ins cos, so I would advise that
you confirm with the secondary ins co. But one formula is that if ins co
"A" and "B" cover, then "B" will pay as
secondary. If "A" covers and "B" doesn't, then
"B" will not pay. If "A" doesn't cover and
"B" covers then "B" will pay as primary. Hope this
helps.
