Question:
where do i began?

i am very interested in the surgery and i dont know where to start. i have heard to go to the doctor and start some medical diet pills and then if they dont work go back and see if you can get approval from the surgeon to get the surgery done. is that true? please email me at [email protected] and help me on where to began. my bmi is 41.6 and i a weigh 270# and i really want to lose the weight and nothing seems to help. thank you!!!!!    — LISA Z. Goodmorning.... If you have tried conventional dieting in the past, why would you go for the "medical pills"? Talk to you physician and begin the process for WLS, ask for a referral to a specialist and start the ball rolling!! I had the Fobi pouch done in October of 1997, I am 225 lbs thinner and feel incredible. My BMI went from a 51 down to a 24. Where are you located?

Hi! You come from my neck of the woods. It depends on your insurance. If you have like Group Health,it should be no problem. Forget the diet pill!!!!! Put your energy finding out if this is right thing for you. Diet pills just mess up you metabolic state. Margaret
