Question:
Trigeminal Neuralgia 12 yours post op. Need help with medications
I hat gastric bypass 12 years ago. Now I have Trigeminal Neuralgia type 2. It feels like the worst toothache you ever had! It is constant pain EVERY SINGLE DAY! I'm still trying to fine the right medications for my constant pain. Also there seems to be a problem with the absorption of the medications. Is there anyone out here that has TN or ATN Too? What meds do you take now?? Marsha — [Deactivated Member] (posted on April 14, 2014)

I feel your pain. My father suffered from TN for 8 years and it was
debilitating to him. After years on medications he finally met with a
wonderful surgeon in Toronto, ON who performed a miraculous surgery where
they inserted a piece of tephlon between the nerve and he was cured!!! The
risks were many but he could no longer live the way he was. I see him
finally living again. I hope you find a miracle as my dad did. Best of
Luck.
