Question:
Flavorless protein shakes?
I can't stand protein shakes! Are there any out there that are flavorless? — LS74 (posted on July 25, 2010)

Which ones have you tried? I agree that some do not taste great, but some
do?
I don't believe that there is a truly flavorless protein. I am not aware
of any.
We have an unflavored which has very little taste--in the following ways:
-- we don't recommend putting it in plain water
-- I do believe that when mixing it in fruit flavored crystal light (such
as Fruit Punch flavor, or orange flavor) or using our Jell-O or Sugar-Free
Instant Pudding recipem, it completely disappears for most people.
Anything you buy from us is returnable for a refund even if opened, and we
do sell samples.
Kind regards

Protein cannot be flavorless, and chances are, even if you bought
unflavored, you would still recognize that protein taste. I recommend
Unjury, it is by far the best of the unflavored - which only means they do
not add any extra flavors. I still have a hard time with it, but it's the
best I have found.

I exclusively use Unjury unflaored and I use it in everything...I make my
ouw bread and use 1/2 Unjury and 1/2 powdered milk in the recipe, I also
started drinking my coffee/tea less hot and use this as my creamer.....you
can use it in ANYTHING !!!! They flavor changes a little bit but it is not
unpleasant... good luck. Have you tried Chike???? For me they tatse the
beast as for flavored. Good luck !!!

I hated them too but found some one I really, really like at this store
called Carb Essentials which is in my town as well as some of the others
nearby. You can also order online and the web site is
www.carbessentials.net The product I like is pre-measured in plastic
bottles, you just break the seal, open it and add cold water. They are
really good, especially the lemon berry and very berry ones. The brand name
is Health Wise. I cannot beleive how GOOD they are..15 grams of protein in
about 8 ounces of liquid.

I am 3 years post op and had the same problem, I couldn't stand any protein
drink. The one that I found that works for me because of taste, cost, and
convienence is the Costco brand Kirkland chocolate protein that you buy by
the case. I still drink them. Try that and see how you like them.

I am not sure if you have tried BeneProtein. It is made by Benefiber. You
can add it to anything and it has no flavor, I use Bariatrics Advantage,
the have lots of flavors and when you mix in a blender with ice, it is just
like a milkshake.
