Question:
How can I get my surgical records from a Molina band surgery done in 1990?
I don't remember the name of the hospital, and I understabd that Dr. Molina has passed away. I have to have revision done, like most of Molina's patients, and I need the records? Help? Please? — bblades1228 (posted on May 3, 2010)

You might try asking your Ins co. Good luck.

Call the hospital records department. You may have to make an appointment
to go in to get copies of your records.

Dr Molina did his surgeries at Spring Branch Medical Center. My best
friend had her surgery by him in 1994 and last year tried to get her
records and the hospital told her that they dont have them and that maybe
they were in storage somewhere. I had surgery in 2003 and am so glad I had
to get copies of my records for AFLAC so I still have them. I have several
copies in different places. Did you gain your weight back? Are you having
in complications? Do you know what your band is made out of? I have done
great and have kept the 80 lbs off that I lost but I have a obstruction so
the band must come out. I am going in Tuesday for an upper GI endoscopy to
see how much damage I have. Sure would like to hear your story.
