Question:
Has anyone experience mood changes ? If so have you considered estrogen patch?
I desire to quit my job due to the stress level? I have notice I have been more clanky lately. — FAITH_2009 (posted on December 3, 2009)

I don't think that an estrogen patch is the way you want to go. When you're
losing, your fat cells aren't just dumping fat. They're also dumping
estrogen. Your mood swings are actually likely caused by the increased
level of estrogen in your system. You don't want to add to that.

Oh Honey! Mood swings, face breakouts, bloating, hot flashes, all the
stuff I left behind 30 years ago! When the weight loss slows, the other
stuff levels out, too. Hang in there. I don't know if it helps, but it
seems to me that drinking all your water and staying light on the salt
should help flush things. Sweating it out with exercise helps, too.

If you had surgery in the last few months get use to the mood swings. As
your fat burns you get doses of hormones that have been stored in the fat.
Once your weight stablizes it usually settles.

I am so glad to read these answers and that someone else has had these
things going on. What about your sex drive?
