Question:
3 days of being 4 wks post out gastric bypass
If i throw up a little is that messing up my pouch.How would you no if the pouch is purst open. — felicia45Cook (posted on October 5, 2009)

I asked my surgeon about my pouch bursting or being ripped. He said if
that were to happen I would get deathly ill quickly and would need to be
put in ICU. Throwing up a little is probably just food getting stuck.
Make sure you are chewing small bites till it's mush.

it could also be eating too much. Once you start to feel pressure in the
pouch area, stop eating. That way you are sure not to over eat. Try it, if
it works, then adopt in into your routine. I do not throw up and I don't
think it should be "normal" I am 16 months out and maintaining
for 6 of that. If you have doubts, talk to your clinic. Best of luck to you
