I take magnesium for this ,started out drinking tonic water but it did not keep them at bay (helped a little)so i sstarted onmag 500 mg ,worked my way up to 2000 a day and no more cramps.

I had the same problem for several months. After having my blood-work done, and everything coming up okay, my doctor suggested that I increase the salt in my diet. It seemed to help.

I take the liquid calcium with Magnesium and that cures it everytime. If I stop, the cramps come back. I know Tropical Oasis makes one that isn't bad.

If you are 14 months out, you may have a "hangy down" tummy. If so, in certain positions, that could be putting pressure on the main nerve that runs down your leg and causing the cramping. I was talking about that with my doc just yesterday...sometimes it's cramping, sometimes numbness. Obviously the "cure" for that is to have the loose skin removed. In the meantime, see if you get relief by readjusting your tummy.

Potassium supplement works for me and my husband. Good luck.
