Try the lowfat yogurts. They have all kinds of yogurts that taste like
sweets that are lowfat and low sugar. I don't know what kind of weight
loss surgery you had, if you had the RNY, I didn't think you could process
sugar and if you had lap band then, maybe you should have a fill?

Take a deep breath, you are scared but, you are still in control of your
body. I had RNY in Oct. and just had breast reconstruction in June so I
know where you are coming from. Too much time, can't do anything but eat,
So I eat!! But I watch what I eat. Breakfast is Special K with Protien and
a 1/2 cup of milk. In two or three hours I have yogert, Kroger Carb Master
is good. Lunch is a good time to have someone over,a coworker, friend or
family member. Serve a tuna salad on lettuce leaves and sugar free pudding
with cool whip for dessert, the thing is make it special. Serve it on small
plates and use wine glasses for the pudding. A few hours later have some
cottage cheese and fruit (fresh or in it's own syrup). When dinner comes
around make sure you have planned it out and you have everything you need.
If you have a family you will need to make something they like, fix
something you can eat at the sametime. Why? Because if you are fixing food
your hands are being kept busy. I make bread( from frozen dough), I make
desserts (cakes and Pies) and you know what? I let myself have some of the
dessert. No not a slice of pie but maybe a tablespoon or two of the
filling. I'm not deprived, I got in my protien for the day, made sure I
drank all my water, and I never got hungry. The thing is plan your day and
your meals. Don't just sit in front of the TV and eat what ever you can
find. One last thing, you are a strong woman, you have come this far, this
is not the "easy way" to diet as some may think, I know you can
do this, you know you can do it, so let's get our day started.

Hope you feelbetter soon...but while you have time and are healing you MUST
try some of the recipes from Michele (an OH helper who has had RNY) She is
awesome!!!!!! She's a self proclaimed carb phobic (Like many of us) and
makes the most decadent protein filled low carb, desserts and meals...Just
amazing stuff! I love this woman! I thought i was creative with
food...She's QUEEN of creative! You WILL find something in her many recipe
archives...I PROMISE! I have made so many of her recipes...She is a true
inspiration to me. I still have my own ideas...but sometimes....I don't
feel like pushing my brain that far....I just know I can count on something
totally yummy here! http://theworldaccordingtoeggface.blogspot.com/
